Telangana government is planning to build a new city in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Government is planning to extend the service roads of the Outer Ring Road (ORR). Plans are on to extend the service roads to the nearby villages and there by creating grid roads. With this plan, government wants to bring 7.9 Lakh Acres around ORR to use.
The file is currently pending with the government and once it is sanctioned, the economic activity in the area will trigger and will boom in to a new city. There are 189 villages around the 158 Kilometers of Outer Ring Road, but there is no proper connectivity to these villages until now.
The real estate in Hyderabad slowed down significantly over the years. There is no signs of redemption too and so this ‘New City’ will open new oppurtunities here. Once the proposal is cleared, government is planning to create infrastructure facilities in the villages. Government has 1000 acres land here and when the city materializes, it will be nothing but gold for the state government.
