YSR Congress Party Nagari constituency MLA Roja was suspended from Andhra Pradesh assembly affairs by speaker on December 18th for a year following her unparliamentary remarks against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
She then appealed to high court to take up the case and do justice but the court rejected the petition by saying that it was not maintainable as the decision was taken by the speaker.
Roja then approached Supreme court over this where she finally gets some relief as the court ordered Andhra Pradesh-Telangana joint High Court to take up the petition filed by Roja after hearing the arguments. It further instructed the high court to hear the case on Wednesday. Roja is expecting a favourable outcome this time.
