Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be in Mumbai on 6th and 7th of this month. He will be meeting Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Telangana and Maharashtra governments will be signing an agreement over Kaleshwaram Project. Maharashtra is opposing this project since it will submerge few border villages of its state.
In order to avoid submerging, Telangana government has agreed to decrease the height of the project and as well as construct three barrages which will eliminate submerging danger for Maharashtra. KCR will be accompanied by Minister Harishrao and concerned officials of irrigation department.
KCR himself will give the presentation of the new DPR to the Maharashtra Chief Minister. If KCR adopts similar approach to various issues plaguing both the Telugu states, it will do so much of good for AP and Telangana. Both the Chief Ministers should forget their individual egos and only deal in the constitutional positions they are in.
