YSRCP president YS Jagan's decision to give the Rajya Sabha ticket to his loyal confidante Vijayasai Reddy has kick-started a huge political storm. Several TDP leaders have lambasted Jagan's casteism and patronizing only Reddy leaders in his party.
Launching an all-out attack on Jagan, Atchennaidu stated that Vijayasai Reddy knows all the secrets about Jagan's financial irregularities and that is the reason behind Jagan choosing a financial criminal like Vijayasai Reddy for Rajya Sabha and murdering democracy.
The senior TDP leader further said that Jagan chose Vijayasai Reddy only to prevent him from quitting YSRCP to closely guard his own shady secrets. In what can be termed as "For the Reddys, To the Reddys and By the Reddys", Atchennaidu questioned Jagan of choosing only Reddy leaders for key posts in YSRCP.
Atchennaidu shot a direct question at Jagan asking why he didn't chose leaders from backward castes and SC/STs instead of choosing Rajendranath Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy for PAC Chairman and Rajya Sabha posts respectively.
Explaining the phenomenon behind the YSRCP MLAs joining TDP, Atchennaidu said that the YSRCP leaders are no longer willing to stay afloat with a criminal party like the YSRCP and said that more MLAs will soon be joining TDP to save democracy.
Already, Jagan distanced himself from several castes, and with his latest gesture, he has widened the gap even further and gave TDP the advantage to cash in on it.
