Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has begun a new journey in his governance as he inaugurated the Chief Minister Office on the first floor in Block-I of the interim government complex (IGC) at Velagapudi in Amaravati this morning at an auspicious muhurtham of 8:09 am.
Even though Babu wanted to step into his chamber yesterday on the occasion of Vijaya Dasami and kick-start his administrative works, astrologers advised him against it as Tuesday is considered inauspicious for new beginnings.
Amidst vedic chants and special prayers, Chandrababu performed the pumpkin breaking ritual and stepped into his chamber. With CM and the rest of his cabinet ministers taking charge at the Velagapudi IGC, the state governance has finally gotten its c/o address.
This is the fifth time for Chandrababu to perform prayers in Amaravati in the last fifteen months. Babu performed bhumi puja for Amaravati construction works on June 6th last year. Later on, Babu and PM Modi performed puja at Uddandarayunipalem to inaugurate the capital city construction works on October 22nd last year.
