Telangana TDP Working President Revanth Reddy visited Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam along with his wife and his newly wed daughter and his son-in-law yesterday. Throughout his visit, the firebrand Telangana leader was given a VIP treatment by the temple authorities.
After performing special prayers, Revanth spoke to the media personnel in the temple premises and lashed out at his arch rival and Telangana CM KCR. Revanth said that KCR and his son KTR have been desperately trying to woo the Andhra settlers in Hyderabad with false promises to win in the upcoming GHMC elections.
Alleging that KCR used Telangana sentiment against Andhraites during the separate Telangana movement and that KCR's soft ploys will be closely observed by the settlers from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab and Gujarat etc .
Revanth reminded how KCR's 2014 election promises like 100 storey building by the Tank Bund, turning the Hussain Sagar lake's water into a drinking water resource, turning Indira Park into Ganesh Sagar lake, shifting of Secretariat and the Osmania and Erragadda Hospitals to the city's outskirts have not been fulfilled until now.
Revanth further said that voters have realized that there has been no development in KCR's reign over the last 18 months.
