Telangana Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has finally decided to cancel the EAMCET -2 entrance examination. The Chief minister held an emergency meeting with the officials of investigative agency and health and education department and reviewed the progress in the probe into the medial paper leak scam.
Officials said KCR favored towards conducting the exam afresh. A decision towards this end would come out by Monday. The chief minister also discussed the conduct of the exam without collecting fee from the students again and free transportation to the students on the examination day.
He discussed the pros and cons of the cancellation of the examination, legal hurdles and the possibility of conduct of fresh examination with the officials. The role of the state government, universities and the court judgments with regard to the previous paper leaks was also discussed in detail in the meeting.
The officials cautioned the chief minister that government would plunge into major problem if any one knocked on the court doors challenging the admissions done on Eamcet -2 rank basis.
