With all his ploys to push the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to a corner fizzling out without creating any ripples in the state government, the Kapu agitation seems to have given a new elixir to the YSRCP president YS Jagan.
In a press meet today, Jagan extended his support to the Kapu agitation, which started out with the demand of the inclusion of Kapus into BCs. Jagan tried to gain advantage over the CM as he alleged Chandrababu's tyranny in suppressing the Kapu agitation is highly condemnable.
Jagan then accused Chandrababu of getting the iconic Kapu leader Vangaveeti Ranga assassinated when he flagged off the Kapu Nadu movement in 1988. With these vehement attacks, Jagan seems to be reminding Ranga to the Kapus even though the community is maintaining composure by not dragging Ranga's name into each of their issues.
