NDA is going to have new partner if reports are anything to go by. Fresh with the success of GHMC polls, TRS which is in its full form may soon join NDA led by BJP. Since TRS has strong foothold in Telangana, BJP too is mulling over to join hands with TRS as it'd fetch former. BJP senior leaders in Telangana too in favour of TRS-BJP alliance. They're of the opinion that this would be good chance for them to get base in Telangana and an opportunity to gain strength to counter MIM in Hyderabad. As of now, these are the speculations that are doing the rounds.
Adding fuel to these speculations, Telangana CM and TRS chief KCR has met PM Narendra Modi on Friday. Besides issues pertaining to Telangana development, apparently TRS-BJP alliance too came.
It needs to be seen whether BJP breaks away with TDP and ties up with TRS or BJP would strategically have an alliance with TRS in Telangana and TDP in Andhra Pradesh has to be seen or it will only go along with TDP in both Telugu states. Political pundits too opine that Lotus (BJP) - Gulabi (TRS) Mulakat is likely. Let's wait and watch.
