At least 17 of his MLAs have given a rude shock to Jagan and defected to TDP, with a few more ready to quit the party in the near future. While the defected MLAs are yet to get adjusted to their new groove in TDP, the YSRCP seems to be daydreaming that the defected MLAs will return to their own party.
Yesterday, YSRCP MLAs Kakani Govardhan Reddy, Prathap Kumar Reddy and Sanjeevaiah said that six defected YSRCP MLAs are constantly in touch with them again. The confident MLAs also said that those who defected into TDP are now regretting for betraying Jagan.
However, the three MLAs refused to reveal the names of the six defected YSRCP MLAs who are keen on returning their own fort and said that they will divulge names at an appropriate time to counter Chandrababu.
Recently, there were reports that a few YSRCP MLAs faced discomfort when they were invited to a party meeting at Babu's residence but their mobile phones were taken by Babu's security men. In this backdrop, the YSRCP MLAs claims have gained importance.
