Farmers who have given their lands to Amaravati in Land Pooling, may have to wait longer for their land allotments. The state government first planned to give these lands by December end but it looks like it may be pushed to May now. The government still have to collect Island plots and assigned lands to lock the Master Plan and decide up on the land allotments.
Island plots Pooling may go till December end and then the government will take up the complex issue of Pooling assigned lands. It is expected to take minimum of 2 months. If the land allotments begin in March, the exercise is likely to finish by May next year.
The state government have to give away 8300 acres of developed plots to farmers who have given about 30000 acres for Amaravati construction. After the land allotments, it will take a minimum of 24 months to develop those plots as promised.
