Producer-entrepreneur Prasad V Potluri, who holds multi-business house PVP Group that has interest in realty, media and entertainment, sports, has lauded Badminton player PV Sindhu who won silver medal in women's singles in Rio 2016 Olympics. Congratulating Sindhu and her coach Pullela Gopichand, PVP heaped praises on Sindhu stating that her perseverance and relentless quest for excellence is behind her remarkable achievement. He also lauded PV Sindhu for uniting the country in euphoria with the sport.
Not many are aware of PVP's extensive contribution to the badminton sport in the state and country as he owned Hyderabad Hotshots team in Indian Badminton League.
Though there was no direct connect with sport, PVP has forayed into the business of sports with IBL in June 2013 and he had predicted bright future for Badminton in India way back in 2013 itself.
"Personally, I have had the good fortune to have been part of this sport being a team owner. The most privileged part of my life was spent travelling with young badminton players and witnessing their passions have truly inspired me," said PVP and complimented Sindhu, Gopi who will be coming to Hyderabad on Monday after great show on international arena.
